Visual merchandising is the strategy to display products in order to maximize the sales.Visual merchandising plays a vital role in the look and feel of the store. In order to grab the customers attention look and feel of the store matters a lot. 

As it was rightly said, “when one visualize, than only one can materialize” that is to say when one can see tangibly from all the required angles then only one got satisfied with it and imagined how it applies to the concerned. From online shopping to traditional shopping, one thing is common- the visuals of the products which they get are tremendously eye catching. Because it can create the first impression as the brands got only one shot to catch the attention of their customer. Sometimes it just happened that buyers could make their purchase decision only after first insight which they are getting through visual merchandising. It also adds to the brand perception, the customer can make, as healthy Visual Merchandising depicts the paradigm of the organization. That’s the reason why organization pours much of their money in creating attractive visuals for their product at online store or in their physical store.

Many a times, it can be seen that customers purchased their product when they had done the final step of purchasing which is by paying to the buyer but actually they purchased the product at the first glance which they get through Visual Merchandising. The manner in which goods are advertised and marketed can have a huge effect on customer reactions to them and how much merchandise is sold. Retailers can boost revenue and enhance their profit margins by showing goods in compelling, affordable and attractive ways.

Window Display

A major impacting process of Visual Merchandising is Window Display. Window displays are also the first point of contact with your company which your future customers will have. If used to describe a window show the expression ‘ A photo says a thousand words ‘ is never truer.Your window display needs to speak to potential customers, tell them what your business / shop is doing, what range to expect, rates, offers or promotions and what kind of service you should expect. If used effectively, your window display will offer you new customers, improve your company’s image / brand, build customer loyalty, promote other product lines and, above all, be a big tool for increasing your sales.

So, it was always suggested to make your first appearance as attractive as possible, to make an effort to grab the attention of the customer in a way that they come under your grip and switching to others would not be possible for them.
